You will great a Social Media Marketing Plan for a company that has been approved by me by March 30.  Throughout the semester, you will turn in several sections and combine them into a complete Social Media Marketing Plan.  Please refer to your textbook in Chapter 2 & 14 for more information on a Social Media Marketing Plan.  We will only be working on the first half of the cycle stopping at Implement.  There is also an example in the Appendix starting on pg. 293.  I will be providing additional content and guidance during the course of this class.
The book is Social Media Marketing: A Strategic Approach
I chose Main Event for my assignment. I must discuss their main page and the local page (Waco, TX is closest to me)
SMM Plan Listen & Goals
This this first step in our Social Media Planning Cycle.  Please refer to Chapter 2, Listen and Observe: Five Stages and Setting Goals and Objectives.  Chapter 14 contains more information on how to write an SMM Plan, p. 276 goes over Conducting and Listening/Competitive Analysis and pg. 279 is about Setting Goals.
SMM Plan Strategies & Target Audience
We’re moving to the second step in our Social Media Planning Cycle.  Refer to Chapter 14 for more information on the SEM Plan.  The last half of Chapter 2 discusses Determining Strategies.  Move on to Chapter 3 for Target Audiences.  
SMM Plan Tools
It’s time for the third step in our Social Media Planning Cycle.  Refer to Chapter 14 for more information on the SEM Plan.  Chapter 5 discusses the different social media platforms and networking sites.  But the rest of the book goes into how to use the.  This section will require more time and effort.

This project will be for one grade, but you will turn in several parts before completing one cohesive plan due on Saturday, May 4, 2023.  It will be broken up into:
Listen and Goals: due April 6
Strategies and Target Market: due April 20
Tools: due April 27
Final SMM Plan: due May 4
