For the topic you choose you need to address the following items:
Why is the topic you chose related to sustainability, and, in particular, explain the interconnection between environmental, social, and economic systems in relation to sustainability. Furthermore, sustainability has far reaching consequences that impact more than one discipline. (20 pts)
Select relevant statistical analyses to answer questions, appropriately considering the scope of inference and weight of evidence, with an emphasis on questions related to sustainability. Additionally, include at least two (different) aspects of the analysis that relate to these components: graphical display of data, numerically summarizing data, probability, confidence intervals, or hypothesis tests. Explain the conclusions and applications of these components. Additionally explain to what extent statistical methods can yield statistical conclusions (or measure) on issues relating to sustainability, and what do these decisions mean for our society? How does one issue of sustainability affect another (discipline)? (20 pts)
