Topic Question to Research:     Answer both of the questions below in a research paper.
1. What are the causes and effects of the incarceration of juveniles?  For example, explain what causes them to become incarcerated and how it affects their well-being). 
2. What are, or might be, innovative approaches to juvenile delinquency prevention and intervention?  **You must include a news article from 2022 or 2023. Summarize the article and state your opinion about the program. Google “juvenile justice reform news articles” to find a recent article.

Acceptable Length:  500-700 words of content 
Use reference material to support your points. Be sure to use in-text citations to show the source of your information. However, be sure to document the information IN YOUR OWN WORDS as much as possible. Also, use quotation marks for any direct (word-for-word) quotes. Both paraphrased and quoted information require in-text citations.
