The research paper assignment will ask you to research a law or policy that in some way has impacted the LGBTQ community, either in the US or abroad. The assignment will consist of a research paper proposal, research paper, and presentation. I will provide a list of suggested topics in addition to the assignment prompt during the semester. Students are also welcome to select their own topic. The research proposal will be 1 page, single- spaced in length and the research paper will be 10-12 pages, double-spaced in length.
