Research Poster Assignment
Objectives:  Demonstrate research skills, the ability to use APA in-text citation format and parenthetical citations crediting sources, and ability to create a vivid and dynamic research poster illustrating a particular problem in recreation, leisure, or outdoor adventure.
Point Value:  100 points
Requirements:  Students will research a topic related to particular problem in recreation, leisure, or outdoor adventure and will create an electronic poster created using Microsoft PowerPoint, to be turned in as PDF using a 24×36 landscape layout.  
Number of Sources Required:  4-6
Number of in-text citations required: Minimum: 2 from each source.
Rubric:  We are looking for an informative and visually interesting, creative, and vivid electronic poster and a correctly formatted APA cited works.  See examples in files.
Upload Directions:  Upload your final powerpoint WITH all working slides (charts, graphs, etc) to show your work as a powerpoint (ppt) & a one-slide (1 slide) pdf of your final poster (this is done by ‘saving as’ .pdf and then click ‘options’ and under range select ‘Current Slide’ – this will save the poster as a pdf and not all the slides.
