DB4 Blackboard Current Event/Internet Search Paper. You should choose a topic from the book from Chapter 1-24, find an article on that topic, and write a brief paper on it. Make comments on the articles of other students.
Guidelines:
Obtain an article (dated within one year): may be a magazine, web article, or other as approved by instructor. (Instructor can add specific websites, etc.)
Write a response to the article as follows:
First Paragraph: Summarize the main idea of the article, describe who the article was written by, and identify the source of the article.
Second Paragraph: In your own words, write about what you have learned from reading the article. Be sure to include supporting details.
Third Paragraph: Relate how this article connects to what you are learning in class. Also in this section, explain why you think the author/source is valid/reliable or not.
Fourth Paragraph: How does this article affect you personally? All events affect us in some way. Be creative as to how this current event is related to you (e.g. socially, emotionally, economically, etc.) Predict what type of impact this article will have on future generations in your community and globally. Include in this paragraph the ethical implications of the article topic. You must support your reasoning.
