Choose a character and alter them to create a new spin on an old story. You can either take a character and leave them as they were initially written and place them in a different setting OR change the characteristics of your chosen character and write out a scene from your text with the alterations that their new personality traits would naturally create, showing the impact of their character on conflict, relationships, and plot.
Please provide a short introduction, 1-3 sentences, explaining the basis for the changes you have made to your character or how they translate to a new setting.  
Your media creation could be written as a play, short story, or another medium approved by your teacher. Be sure that you are adhering to the conventions of your chosen medium.
