Students will research a topic and write 2 – 3 pages, typed, double-spaced on the investigation / findings, including examples, graphs and images, when appropriate.  Explain your topic thoroughly.  Paraphrase and comment on the ideas of others, but don’t plagiarize.  Explain any technical terms used in your own words.  Cite references, as appropriate.
You can and should use external research to support your arguments and claims, cited appropriately.
Your final draft should be double spaced. Any images/graphs you use should be titled and labeled.
The three main aspects you will be graded on are clarity, accuracy, and mathematical reasoning.
Remember, you are writing for someone who was not in the class. Any mathematical terms or notation you use need to be defined.  Be sure to clearly label any tables, graphs, etc.
Your topic MUST be a topic we covered from either Business OR Finance.  Topic choices can come from any of the concepts covered in this course.
