For this assignment, students will write a mock letter to a museum, attempting to convince the museum to either repatriate or retain one of the artworks in the list below.

Your letter should be 1.5 pages (375-450 words), Times New Roman, 12 pt font, double spaced with 1” margins, and should be addressed to the museum in possession of your chosen artwork. Consider the pro- and anti-repatriation arguments outlined in the Repatriation PDF for inspiration when writing your letter. Any additional research must be properly cited (MLA, APA, and Chicago Manual formats accepted). Failure to cite information derived from sources other than those offered through Canvas will result in one count of Academic Dishonesty.
